Materials
Books

Up to 3 New Books can be checked out for 3 weeks with no renewals. All other books can be checked out for 3 weeks with one 3-week renewal upon request. If calling in request for a renewal please have your library card number ready. Books and DVDs can be returned inside the building or in the drop slot, between the doors and the corner of the building. 

 

Magazines

Up to 5 magazines may be checked out for 3 weeks with one renewal.
New magazines may be checked out for 3 weeks with no renewal. 

 

DVDs

Up to 5 dvds can be checked out (only 1 of which may be a set containing more than 2 disks).  The initial check out period is one week with one renewal.

 

Audio Books

Up to 3 audio books may be checked out by a card holding adult. Audio books may be checked out for 3 weeks with one renewal. These can be returned inside the building or in the drop slot between the doors and and the corner of the building. 

 

Seeds

Up to 3 seed packets may be checked out by a card holding adult. These are yours to keep and enjoy! Ask at the circulation or reference desk for the notebook which has packet pictures and info on all available seeds. Feel free to post pictures on our Facebook page of your plants!
 

Non-Traditional lending library

We are now circulating a non-traditional lending library which includes baking pans, tools, STEM kits, puzzles, board games, video games etc. Check out period is for 1 week with one renewal.  One item from this collection can be checked out at a time on an adult card.  Please contact us if you if you are interested in donating to this project or have suggestions of what you would like us to add to this collection.

 

Computers

Our adult computer lab offers free internet access. Children under 15 years old must have an adult sitting with them at the adult computer lab at all times.  A children's computer lab is available for preschool children with educational and fun software but no access to the internet.  Any outstanding balance of $5 or more must be paid before using our computers. Please present your library card or Driver's License/State ID at the Reference Desk to receive a computer pass.
 

WI-FI

Wireless internet is available throughout the building, just connect to "MPL Public Wifi".
